🥩 Carnivore Chili Recipe
✅ 100% Animal-Based | 🕒 Ready in ~30-40 min | 🍲 Serves 3–4
🧾 Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (80/20 or fattier preferred)
1/2 lb chuck roast or stew beef, cubed (optional, for texture)
4 strips bacon, chopped
1/2 cup bone broth (or water)
1 tsp salt (or to taste)
1/2 tsp black pepper (optional — for liberal carnivores)
1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
Optional add-ins:
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp butter or beef tallow
Shredded cheese for topping (if tolerated)
🔥 Instructions:
Cook the Bacon
In a large pot or skillet, cook chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
Brown the Beef
In the same pot, add ground beef and cubed stew meat (if using). Brown well, breaking up the ground beef.
Add Broth & Simmer
Pour in bone broth, season with salt and optional spices.
Reduce heat and simmer for 20–30 minutes, uncovered, until it thickens.
Add Bacon Back In
Stir in cooked bacon pieces at the end. Optionally, mix in a pat of butter or sprinkle cheese on top.
Serve Hot
Serve in a bowl as-is, or pair with pork rinds or a fried egg on top for extra protein.
💬 Q&A: Carnivore Chili Edition
Q: Can I use only ground beef?
A: Yes! It’s budget-friendly and still delicious. The stew beef just adds texture.
Q: What if I don’t have bone broth?
A: Use water, or mix in a bit of beef fat for flavor.
Q: Can I meal prep this?
A: Definitely. It reheats well and can be frozen for up to 2 months.
Q: Is cheese allowed on carnivore?
A: Strict carnivore = no. Liberal carnivore or keto-carnivore = yes, if you tolerate dairy.
Q: No tomatoes??
A: Nope — this version is zero carb, so no tomato sauce, no beans, no onions, etc.
