Meaty Cabbage Soup Recipe
Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

½ head green cabbage, chopped

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 can diced tomatoes (14–15 oz)

4 cups beef broth
-
Salt & pepper to taste

Optional: 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, 1 bay leaf, chili flakes for heat
Instructions
1. Brown the Beef

In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat.

Break it apart and cook until browned.

Drain excess fat if needed.
2. Add Aromatics

Add diced onion and minced garlic.

Sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened and fragrant.
3. Add Tomatoes & Broth

Pour in the canned diced tomatoes (with juices).

Add 4 cups beef broth.
-
Stir.
4. Add Cabbage
-
Add the chopped cabbage.
-
Season with salt, pepper, and any optional spices.

Bring to a boil.
5. Simmer

Reduce heat and simmer 20–25 minutes, until cabbage is tender and flavors blend.
6. Taste & Adjust

Add more salt, pepper, or spices as needed.
Serving
Serve hot with:

A squeeze of lemon

Fresh parsley
-
Crusty bread (optional)
