Crispy, golden, and packed with protein — these patties use pantry ingredients and come together in minutes.


Ingredients (Makes 6–8 Patties)

For the Patties

  • 1 can (14–15 oz) salmon, drained
    or 1½ cups cooked flaked salmon

  • 1 large egg

  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs (or crushed crackers, oats for healthier)

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt)

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1–2 tbsp fresh parsley or dill, chopped

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • Salt & pepper to taste

For Pan-Frying

  • 2–3 tbsp oil (olive oil or avocado oil)


🍽 Instructions

Step 1 — Prepare the Salmon

  1. Drain salmon and remove large bones if preferred (they’re edible).

  2. Flake the salmon in a mixing bowl.


Step 2 — Mix the Patties

  1. Add egg, breadcrumbs, mayo, onion, garlic, lemon juice, herbs, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  2. Mix until the mixture holds together.

  3. Form into 6–8 patties.


Step 3 — Cook

Pan-Fry (Best flavor & texture):

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

  2. Cook patties 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.

Air Fryer:

  • Spray patties with oil

  • Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.

Bake:

  • Brush with oil and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15–18 minutes.
