Crab Rangoon Bombs

Crispy on the outside, creamy and savory on the inside — these bites are perfect for snacks, appetizers, or game-day trays!


Ingredients (Makes 10–12 Bombs)

Filling

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup crab meat (imitation or real), chopped

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp green onions, chopped

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • ½ tsp sugar (optional)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Outer Layer

Choose ONE option:
Crescent dough (Easiest)
✔ Biscuit dough
✔ Wonton wrappers (extra crispy)

For Frying / Baking

  • Oil for frying (if deep-frying)

  • OR egg wash + cooking spray (for baking)

Step 1 — Make the Filling

  1. In a bowl, mix:

    • Cream cheese

    • Crab meat

    • Soy sauce

    • Green onions

    • Garlic powder

    • Worcestershire

    • Salt, pepper, sugar

  2. Combine until smooth and creamy.


Step 2 — Assemble the Bombs

If using Crescent or Biscuit Dough:

  1. Cut dough into small squares.

  2. Place 1 tbsp of filling in each square.

  3. Pinch edges and roll into a sealed ball.

If using Wonton Wrappers:

  1. Add 1 tbsp filling in the center.

  2. Brush edges with water.

  3. Bring corners together and seal tightly into a ball shape.


Step 3 — Cook the Bombs

Deep Fry (crispiest):

  • Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).

  • Fry 2–3 minutes until golden.

Air Fryer (easy + crisp):

  • Spray bombs with oil.

  • Air fry 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway.

Bake (lighter option):

  • Brush with egg wash.

  • Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes, until golden.
