4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

1½ tbsp olive oil
Dry Rub (Flavor + Crisp)

1 tsp onion powder

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp dried thyme or oregano

½ tsp chili powder or cayenne (optional)

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prep the Chicken (VERY important)

Remove chicken from fridge 15 minutes before cooking.

Pat very dry with paper towels (this is key for crispy skin).
2. Season

In a bowl, mix olive oil and all dry spices.

Rub mixture all over the chicken, especially under the skin if possible.

Let rest 10 minutes for flavor absorption.
3. Preheat Air Fryer

Set air fryer to 380°F (193°C)

Preheat for 3–5 minutes
4. Air Fry – First Round

Place thighs skin-side down in the basket.

Cook for 12 minutes
5. Flip & Crisp

Flip chicken skin-side up.

Increase temperature to 400°F (205°C).

Cook for 10–12 minutes until:

Internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C)

6. Rest & Finish

Rest chicken 5 minutes (keeps it juicy).

Squeeze fresh lemon over top.
