Air-Fried Apple Wedges
with Caramel Whipped Cream Dipping Sauce
Ingredients
For the Air-Fried Apples

2 large apples (Honeycrisp, Gala, or Fuji work great)

1 tbsp melted butter (or neutral oil)

1–2 tbsp brown sugar

½–1 tsp ground cinnamon

Pinch of salt

Optional: 1 tsp cornstarch (helps crispiness)
For the Caramel Whipped Cream

½ cup heavy whipping cream, very cold

2–3 tbsp caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

½ tsp vanilla extract
-
Pinch of salt
🔥 Instructions
1. Prepare the Apples

Wash and core apples; slice into even wedges (about 8–10 wedges per apple).

In a bowl, toss wedges with melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.

Optional: Add cornstarch and mix until lightly coated.
2. Air Fry

Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3 minutes.

Arrange apple wedges in a single layer (you may need batches).

Air fry 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway through, until tender and lightly caramelized.
🍯 Make the Caramel Whipped Cream

In a cold mixing bowl, beat heavy cream until soft peaks.

Add caramel sauce, vanilla, and a pinch of salt.

Continue whipping until medium-stiff peaks form.

Taste and adjust caramel if desired.
🍽️ Serve
Plate the warm apple wedges and serve with a generous bowl of caramel whipped cream for dipping.
Dust with extra cinnamon or drizzle with more caramel for a fancier finish.
