Total: ~25 minutes
🍞 Serves
4–6 people (or 2 very hungry ones 😄)
🛒 Ingredients
Bread
-
1 round bread loaf (boule, sourdough, or any crusty bread)
Garlic Butter
-
4 tbsp butter, melted
-
3–4 cloves garlic, finely minced
-
1 tbsp fresh parsley or coriander, finely chopped
-
½ tsp salt
-
¼ tsp black pepper
-
½ tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
Cheese Filling
-
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
-
½ cup cheddar or processed cheese, shredded
(use any good melting cheese)
🔪 Preparation
1️⃣ Slice the Bread
-
Place the bread on a cutting board
-
Cut deep criss-cross slits (like a checkerboard)
-
Do NOT cut all the way through — keep the base intact
👉 This creates those pull-apart cubes you see in the photo
2️⃣ Make Garlic Butter
In a bowl, mix:
-
Melted butter
-
Garlic
-
Parsley
-
Salt, pepper
-
Oregano
Mix well — this is where all the flavor lives 🧄✨
3️⃣ Fill the Bread
-
Gently open the cuts with your fingers
-
Drizzle garlic butter deep into every slit
-
Stuff shredded cheese generously into the cuts
-
Brush remaining garlic butter all over the top
Don’t rush this step — the more evenly filled, the better the pull 😌
🍳 Air Fryer Method (As Shown in Image)
4️⃣ Air Fry
-
Preheat air fryer to 180°C / 350°F
-
Place bread carefully into the basket
-
Air fry for 8–10 minutes
✅ Bread should be golden brown
✅ Cheese fully melted and bubbling

👉 If top browns too fast, loosely cover with foil and continue cooking.
