🍟 Air Fryer Potato Slices


Ingredients (Serves 3–4)

  • 3 medium potatoes (washed, peeled optional, sliced ΒΌ-inch thick)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp paprika (for color & flavor)

  • Β½ tsp black pepper

  • Β½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)


Instructions

Step 1 – Prepare Potatoes

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes (peeling is optional).

  2. Slice into even ΒΌ-inch thick rounds.

  3. Place slices in a bowl of cold water for 20 minutes to remove excess starch (helps them crisp up).

  4. Drain and pat dry with a clean towel.


Step 2 – Season

  1. Place potato slices in a large mixing bowl.

  2. Add olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Toss well to coat evenly.


Step 3 – Air Fry

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375Β°F (190Β°C) for 3 minutes.

  2. Arrange potato slices in a single layer (slight overlap is okay).

  3. Cook for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

  4. If needed, cook in batches for best results.


Step 4 – Serve

  1. Transfer to a plate, sprinkle with fresh parsley.

  2. Serve hot with ketchup, garlic mayo, or sour cream dip.


Tips

βœ… For extra crispiness, spray lightly with cooking oil before air frying.
βœ… Try seasoning variations: rosemary + thyme, chili flakes, or parmesan cheese.
βœ… Can also be made with sweet potatoes for a healthier twist.
