PART 1: BBQ Chicken Drumsticks
Ingredients
10–12 chicken drumsticks
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp chili powder (optional)
BBQ Glaze
¾ cup BBQ sauce (sweet & smoky works best)
1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
Optional: splash of hot sauce
Instructions
Prep the chicken
Pat drumsticks completely dry (important for caramelization)
Toss with olive oil and all dry seasonings
Bake
Oven: 425°F / 220°C
Place on foil-lined rack or sheet pan
Bake 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway
Glaze
Mix BBQ glaze ingredients
Brush generously over drumsticks
Return to oven for 10–15 minutes
Flip and re-glaze once more
Finish
Broil 2–3 minutes for sticky, charred edges
Internal temp: 165°F / 74°C
