Ingredients (serves 3–4)
1 loaf French bread or baguette (or thick sandwich bread, sliced)
½ cup butter, softened (salted preferred)
3–4 cloves garlic, finely minced (or 1½ tsp garlic paste)
1 cup shredded cheese
Best combo: mozzarella + cheddar
Or use mozzarella alone for stretch
1 tbsp olive oil (optional, adds crispiness)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp dried parsley (or fresh, finely chopped)
¼ tsp black pepper
Salt to taste (go light if butter is salted)

1. Prep the bread
Slice bread into 1-inch thick pieces.
Line a baking tray with foil and lightly grease it.
2. Make the garlic butter
In a bowl, mix:
Softened butter
Garlic
Olive oil
Italian seasoning
Parsley
Black pepper
