✅ Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
2 chicken breasts (or thighs), boneless & skinless, cut into strips
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste
For the Garlic Sauce:
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sour cream or Greek yogurt
2 cloves garlic, finely minced or grated
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Salt to taste
For Assembly:
1½ cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese (or a mix)
4 large tortillas or wraps
Lettuce or spinach (optional)
Sliced tomatoes or cucumbers (optional)
Fresh parsley or cilantro (optional, for garnish)
🔥 Instructions:
1. Marinate & Cook the Chicken
In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, onion powder, paprika, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
Add chicken strips and toss to coat. Let marinate for 10–15 minutes (or up to overnight).
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for about 5–7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
2. Make the Garlic Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together mayo, sour cream (or yogurt), garlic, lemon juice, and salt.
Taste and adjust for garlic or lemon.
3. Assemble the Wraps
Warm the tortillas slightly (in a pan or microwave) to make them pliable.
Spread a generous spoonful of garlic sauce over each tortilla.
Layer with:
Cooked garlic chicken
Shredded cheese
Optional: lettuce/spinach, tomato, cucumber
4. Toast the Wraps (Optional but recommended!)
Fold the wraps (like a burrito).
Place them seam-side down on a heated skillet or panini press.
