Crispy Beef Stuffed Flatbread Wraps

Ingredients
Beef Filling

450 g (1 lb) ground beef (80/20 for best flavor)

1 tbsp olive oil

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp paprika
-
1 tsp ground cumin
-
½ tsp chili powder (adjust to taste)

½ tsp black pepper
-
¾ tsp salt
-
1 tbsp tomato paste (optional but adds richness)

2 tbsp water or beef broth
Flatbread & Cheese
-
4 large flour tortillas or soft flatbreads
-
1½ cups shredded cheddar or mozzarella
(or a mix—melty is key)
Fresh Filling (Inside the Wrap)

Shredded lettuce
-
Diced tomatoes
-
Thinly sliced red onion
-
Chopped fresh parsley or cilantro
Creamy Sauce (Garlic Yogurt Style)

½ cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
-
1 tbsp mayonnaise
-
1 clove garlic, grated
-
1 tbsp lemon juice
-
Salt to taste
Instructions
1. Cook the Beef Filling
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add onions and cook 2–3 minutes until soft.
Add garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up well.
Stir in:

Paprika

Cumin
-
Chili powder
-
Salt & pepper
-
Tomato paste
-
Water or broth
Simmer 3–4 minutes until juicy but not wet.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
2. Make the Creamy Sauce
Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
Chill while assembling (this makes it 🔥).
3. Assemble the Wraps
Lay flatbread on a clean surface.
On one half only, layer:

Shredded cheese

Spiced beef

More cheese (this helps seal)

Fold over into a half-moon
Press gently.
4. Pan-Crisp the Wraps
Heat a dry pan or lightly buttered skillet over medium heat.
Cook wraps 2–3 minutes per side, pressing gently, until:

Crispy outside

Cheese fully melted
Remove and rest 1 minute.
5. Finish & Serve
Open slightly or cut in half.
Fill with:

Red onion
