Crispy One-Pan Egg and Bacon Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 slices toast
  • 5 slices bacon
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • Fresh salad greens
  • 1 tomato, sliced

Instructions

    • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Place the bacon slices in the pan and cook until they start to crisp up.
  • Once the bacon is half-cooked, lay the cheddar cheese slices directly on top of the bacon. Let the cheese melt over the bacon while it continues to cook.
  • Pour the beaten eggs around the bacon and cheese, letting them spread evenly. Allow the eggs to cook for about 2 minutes until they start to set.
  • Place the 2 slices of toast on top of the bacon and cheese.
  • After about 2 minutes, carefully flip the entire mixture, ensuring the eggs are firm and the toast begins to crisp.
  • Top the toast with salad greens and tomato slices, then fold the edges of the cooked egg over the bread.
  • Fold the toast together to form a sandwich, lightly press, and continue frying on both sides until golden and crispy.
