Greek Chicken Meatballs Bowl with Tzatziki

🧆 Chicken Meatballs
Ingredients

1 lb (450 g) ground chicken

2 cloves garlic, finely minced

¼ cup red onion, very finely chopped

¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

1 tsp dried oregano

½ tsp paprika
-
½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

1 egg
-

2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
Instructions

Mix the meatball base
In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, garlic, onion, parsley, oregano, paprika, salt, pepper, egg, and breadcrumbs.
Mix gently with your hands until just combined (don’t overmix or they’ll be dense). -
Shape
Roll into golf-ball-sized meatballs (about 1½ inches wide). -
Cook
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add meatballs and cook for 8–10 minutes, turning every 2–3 minutes until golden brown on all sides and fully cooked inside (internal temp: 165°F / 74°C). -
Rest
Remove from heat and let them rest for 2–3 minutes.
🥒 Tzatziki Sauce
Ingredients

1 cup Greek yogurt (full-fat is best)

1 medium cucumber, grated

1 clove garlic, minced
-
1 tbsp lemon juice
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
1–2 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped

Salt, to taste
Instructions

Grate cucumber and squeeze out excess water using a towel or paper towels.

In a bowl, combine yogurt, cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, dill, and salt.

Mix well and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes (flavor improves as it chills).
🥗 Fresh Cucumber Salad (like in the bowl)
Ingredients

1–2 cucumbers, sliced

½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp lemon juice or red wine vinegar

Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
Toss everything together just before serving.
🥣 Assembly (Bowl Style)

Add a base of lettuce, rice, or quinoa (optional).

Arrange meatballs on top.

Spoon a generous amount of tzatziki over the side.

Add cucumber salad.

Garnish with extra fresh dill or parsley.
