Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • Optional toppings: grated parmesan, fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, parsley), butter, chili flakes, or sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prep Potatoes: Wash and dry potatoes. Slice them into ¼-inch thick rounds.
  3. Season: In a large bowl, toss potato slices with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place slices in a single layer on a parchment-lined or greased baking sheet.
  5. Bake: Cook for 25–35 minutes, flipping slices halfway through, until golden brown and crispy at the edges.
  6. Optional Toppings: Sprinkle with parmesan or herbs in the last 5 minutes of baking, or serve with butter, sour cream, or a drizzle of hot sauce.
