🥩 Carnivore Chaffle Burger

🍔 Ingredients

For the Chaffles (makes 2 = 1 burger bun)

  • 1 large egg

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or cheddar for extra crispiness)

For the Burger Patty

  • ½ lb (225g) ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)

  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

  • Optional: bacon fat or butter for frying

For the Filling (Optional, depending on strictness)

  • Cheese slices

  • Fried egg

  • Bacon strips

  • Homemade carnivore sauce (e.g., sour cream, cream cheese, or mayo-based)


👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Make the Chaffles

    • Preheat a mini waffle maker (or skillet if no waffle iron).

    • Whisk the egg in a bowl and mix with shredded cheese.

    • Pour half the mixture into the waffle maker, cook until golden & crispy (3–4 min).

    • Repeat with the rest for the second chaffle.

  2. Cook the Burger Patty

    • Shape ground beef into a thick patty.

    • Season lightly with salt & pepper.

    • Cook in a skillet over medium-high heat or on a grill until desired doneness (about 3–4 min per side for medium).

  3. Assemble the Burger

    • Place one chaffle as the base.

    • Add the burger patty, cheese, and any extras (bacon, fried egg, sauce).

    • Top with the second chaffle.

  4. Serve Hot & Juicy

    • Eat right away while the chaffles are still crispy! 🔥


💡 Tips

  • For extra crispy chaffles, add 1 tbsp grated parmesan to the mix.
