Quick Q & A
Q: Can I use fresh apples instead of pie filling?
A: Yes! Dice apples and cook them with a little butter, sugar, and cinnamon until soft before using.
Q: Can these be baked instead of air-fried?
A: Absolutely. Bake at 400°F (205°C) for 12–15 minutes, flipping once.
Q: How do I keep them from unrolling?
A: Roll tightly and place seam-side down in the air fryer — no toothpicks needed.
Q: Can I make them ahead of time?
A: Best fresh, but you can prep and refrigerate them uncooked for up to 24 hours.
