Lemon Cucumber Mint Infused Water

Lemon Cucumber Mint Infused Water (Detox-Style Drink)

Ingredients (for ~1 liter / 4 cups)

  • 1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced

  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced (organic if possible)

  • 10–15 fresh mint leaves

  • 1 liter (4 cups) cold filtered water

  • Optional: ice cubes

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Wash everything well
Rinse the cucumber, lemon, and mint thoroughly to remove dirt or pesticide residue.

  2. Slice the cucumber
Cut into thin rounds. Thin slices release flavor better.

  3. Slice the lemon
Slice thinly and remove visible seeds to avoid bitterness.

  4. Prepare the mint
Gently bruise the mint leaves by pressing them between your fingers—this releases the oils and boosts flavor.

  5. Assemble
Add cucumber, lemon, and mint to a large glass jar or pitcher.

  6. Add water
Pour in cold water until everything is fully submerged.

  7. Chill & infuse
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2–4 hours.
For best flavor, let it sit overnight (8–12 hours).

How to Drink It

  • Drink 1–2 cups at a time

  • Total per day: up to 1–2 liters

  • Best times:

    • Morning (before breakfast)

    • Between meals

    • After heavy or salty foods

How Long It Lasts

  • Best within 24 hours

  • Can be reused once by adding more water, but flavor will be lighter

What It Actually Does (Real Talk)

✔ Helps with hydration
✔ May reduce bloating
✔ Supports digestion
✔ Low-calorie alternative to sugary drinks

❌ It will not magically flatten your stomach on its own
(That usually comes from reduced bloating + hydration, not fat loss)

Optional Add-Ins (If You Want Variety)

  • Ginger slices (for digestion)

  • Lime instead of lemon

  • Basil instead of mint

  • A pinch of turmeric (don’t overdo it)
