Air Fryer Cheesy Garlic Pull-Apart Bread

🛒 Ingredients

Bread

  • 1 round bread loaf (boule, sourdough, or any crusty bread)

Garlic Butter

  • 4 tbsp butter, melted

  • 3–4 cloves garlic, finely minced

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley or coriander, finely chopped

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning

Cheese Filling

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

  • ½ cup cheddar or processed cheese, shredded
    (use any good melting cheese)


🔪 Preparation

1️⃣ Slice the Bread

  • Place the bread on a cutting board

  • Cut deep criss-cross slits (like a checkerboard)

  • Do NOT cut all the way through — keep the base intact

👉 This creates those pull-apart cubes you see in the photo


2️⃣ Make Garlic Butter

In a bowl, mix:

  • Melted butter

  • Garlic

  • Parsley

  • Salt, pepper

  • Oregano

Mix well — this is where all the flavor lives 🧄✨


3️⃣ Fill the Bread

  • Gently open the cuts with your fingers

  • Drizzle garlic butter deep into every slit

  • Stuff shredded cheese generously into the cuts

  • Brush remaining garlic butter all over the top

Don’t rush this step — the more evenly filled, the better the pull 😌

4️⃣ Air Fry

  • Preheat air fryer to 180°C / 350°F

  • Place bread carefully into the basket

  • Air fry for 8–10 minutes

✅ Bread should be golden brown
✅ Cheese fully melted and bubbling
✅ Edges crispy, center soft

👉 If top browns too fast, loosely cover with foil and continue cooking.


🔥 Oven Alternative

  • Bake at 180°C / 350°F for 12–15 minutes

  • Broil for last 2 minutes for extra crispiness

  • Sprinkle extra parsley or chili flakes
