Asparagus Stuffed Chicken Breast
Ingredients (4 servings)
4 chicken breasts
12–16 asparagus spears (3–4 per breast)
½ cup mozzarella or provolone cheese (shredded or slices)
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt & black pepper (to taste)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp Italian seasoning
Toothpicks (to secure)
Optional additions
Lemon zest (for freshness)
Chili flakes (for heat)
Parmesan cheese (extra flavor)
Instructions
1. Prep the Chicken
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Slice each chicken breast lengthwise to create a pocket (don’t cut all the way through).
Season inside & outside with:
Salt
Pepper
Garlic powder
Paprika
Italian seasoning
2. Stuff the Chicken
Fill each pocket with:
3–4 asparagus spears
A handful of mozzarella or provolone
Secure edges with toothpicks.
3. Sear (Optional but amazing)
Heat olive oil in a pan.
Sear stuffed chicken breasts for 2 minutes per side to add color.
4. Bake
Transfer to a baking dish.
Bake for 20–25 minutes until chicken is cooked through (juices clear).
5. Serve
Top with:
Lemon juice
Extra cheese (optional)
Fresh herbs
Pairs well with:
Mashed potatoes
Roasted veggies
Rice
Salad
