Baked Pears with Honey, Fresh Berries, Walnuts & Feta Crumble
Ingredients
- 3 ripe pears, halved and cored
- 2–3 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
- 1 tbsp melted butter (optional but adds richness)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- 1/2 cup fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- Optional garnish: mint leaves, extra honey, or a dollop of yogurt
Instructions
- Preheat Oven:
Heat to 375°F (190°C). - Prepare Pears:
Slice pears in half and remove cores.
Place them cut-side up in a baking dish. - Flavor Mix:
Mix honey, melted butter, cinnamon, and vanilla.
Drizzle evenly over each pear half. - Bake:
Bake for 25–30 minutes, until pears are soft and caramelized. - Add Toppings:
Once baked, top each pear with fresh berries, chopped walnuts, and crumbled feta. - Finish:
Drizzle with extra honey if you want more sweetness.
Garnish with mint leaves or yogurt for a creamy touch.
