BBQ Chicken Drumsticks Platter (Loaded Potatoes + Ranch)

  • Celery & carrot sticks (classic wing combo)

This feeds 3–4 people or 2 very hungry humans.


PART 1: BBQ Chicken Drumsticks

Ingredients

  • 10–12 chicken drumsticks

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp chili powder (optional)

BBQ Glaze

  • ¾ cup BBQ sauce (sweet & smoky works best)

  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar

  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar

  • Optional: splash of hot sauce


Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken

    • Pat drumsticks completely dry (important for caramelization)

    • Toss with olive oil and all dry seasonings

  2. Bake

    • Oven: 425°F / 220°C

    • Place on foil-lined rack or sheet pan

    • Bake 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway

  3. Glaze

    • Mix BBQ glaze ingredients

    • Brush generously over drumsticks

    • Return to oven for 10–15 minutes

    • Flip and re-glaze once more

  4. Finish

    • Broil 2–3 minutes for sticky, charred edges

    • Internal temp: 165°F / 74°C
