For the Creamy Mixture:

4 oz (½ block) cream cheese, softened

½ cup sour cream

½ cup salsa (or canned diced tomatoes with green chilies)

1½ cups shredded Mexican blend or cheddar cheese (divided)

Juice of ½ lime (optional for brightness)

1. Preheat Oven

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

Half of the shredded cheese (Âľ cup)
