🥩 Garlic Butter Steak Bites (Air Fryer Recipe)

Flavor & texture

Seared, caramelized steak cubes with melted garlic butter pooling on top — rich, savory, and ridiculously addictive. Perfect as an appetizer or main.


🛒 Ingredients (serves 3–4)

Steak

  • 1½ lb (700 g) sirloin, ribeye, or strip steak

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Optional: pinch of chili flakes

Garlic Butter

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened

  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

  • Optional: squeeze of lemon juice

Creamy Dip (optional, like in the photo)

  • ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

  • 1 tbsp mayo

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Paprika or chili flakes for garnish


🔪 Prep

  1. Pat steak dry with paper towels (very important for browning).

  2. Cut into even 1½–2 inch cubes.

  3. Toss steak cubes with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.


🍳 Air Fryer Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 200°C / 400°F for 3–5 minutes.

  2. Place steak bites in a single layer (don’t overcrowd).

  3. Air fry for 6–8 minutes, shaking halfway.

    • Medium-rare: ~6 minutes

    • Medium: ~7–8 minutes


🧄 Garlic Butter Finish

  1. While steak cooks, mix butter, garlic, parsley, and lemon juice.

  2. As soon as steak bites come out hot, add a small dollop of garlic butter on each piece.

  3. Toss gently so butter melts and coats everything.


🥣 Creamy Dip (optional)

Mix all dip ingredients in a small bowl. Chill for 10 minutes for best flavor.


🌿 Garnish & Serve

  • Sprinkle with extra parsley

  • Add flaky sea salt

  • Serve immediately with dip, roasted potatoes, or veggies

  • Don’t overcook — steak dries fast in air fryer.

  • Ribeye = juiciest, sirloin = leaner but still great.

  • Want crispier edges? Add 1 extra minute at the end.
