Garlic Sautéed Broccoli (Quick & Healthy)
Ingredients

4 cups broccoli florets (fresh)

2 tbsp olive oil or butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

¼ tsp salt (or to taste)

¼ tsp black pepper

1–2 tbsp water or vegetable broth

Optional: lemon juice, red pepper flakes, parmesan
Instructions

Prep the broccoli
Wash and cut into bite-sized florets. Peel and slice thick stems if using. -
Steam-sauté
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add broccoli and water. Cover and cook 3–4 minutes until bright green and just tender. -
Add garlic
Uncover, add garlic, salt, and pepper.
Sauté 1–2 minutes, stirring often (don’t burn the garlic). -
Finish
Remove from heat. Add a squeeze of lemon juice if desired.
