Honey Garlic Shrimp, Sausage & Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined

  • 6–8 oz smoked sausage (turkey, chicken, or beef), sliced

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter

Honey Garlic Sauce

  • 3 tbsp honey

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)

  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)

  • Salt & pepper to taste


Instructions

1. Prepare the Sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix honey, garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, and chili flakes.

  • Set aside.

2. Cook the Sausage

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat.

  • Add sliced sausage and cook 3–4 minutes until slightly browned.

  • Remove and set aside.

3. Cook the Broccoli

  • In the same pan, add a splash of oil and the broccoli.

  • Sauté 3–4 minutes until bright green and slightly tender.

4. Cook the Shrimp

  • Push broccoli to one side of the skillet.

  • Add shrimp and cook 2 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.

5. Add Sauce & Combine

  • Return sausage to the skillet.

  • Pour the honey garlic sauce on top.

  • Toss everything together and simmer 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.


Serving Suggestions

  • Over rice (white, brown, or jasmine)

  • Over quinoa

  • With noodles

  • Low-carb: serve as a bowl by itself
