🍖 Pan-Seared Pork Chops
Ingredients (Serves 2–3)

4 bone-in pork chops (2–3 cm thick)

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp paprika

1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter
-
3 garlic cloves, smashed
-
½ cup chicken broth or water
-
2 tbsp cream (optional, for extra richness)

Fresh parsley or thyme for garnish
Instructions
1. Season the pork
Pat pork chops dry with paper towel.
Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and thyme.
Rest at room temperature for 15 minutes.
2. Sear the chops
Heat olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat.
Add pork chops and sear 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
3. Butter baste
Reduce heat to medium.
Add butter and smashed garlic to the pan.
Spoon melted butter over chops for 1–2 minutes.
4. Finish cooking
Add chicken broth and cream (if using).
Cover and simmer 4–6 minutes until pork reaches 63°C / 145°F.
Remove pork and rest for 5 minutes.
🥔 Creamy Garlic Potatoes
Ingredients

500 g potatoes, peeled & diced

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive oil

3 garlic cloves, minced
-
½ cup cream or milk
-
Salt & black pepper to taste
-
½ tsp dried herbs (thyme or oregano)
Instructions

Boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (12–15 minutes).

Drain and lightly crush or cube them.

In a pan, heat butter and olive oil.

Add garlic and sauté briefly.

Add potatoes, cream, salt, pepper, and herbs.

Cook 3–4 minutes until creamy and coated.
🍽 Serving
Place creamy potatoes on the plate.
Top with pork chops and spoon pan sauce over everything.
Garnish with fresh herbs.
