🧾 Ingredients
Filling
4 oz cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Roll-Ups
8–10 slices white sandwich bread (soft works best)
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Cinnamon Sugar Coating
¼ cup granulated sugar
1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
French Toast Dip
2 large eggs
¼ cup milk or half-and-half
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Optional Glaze (highly recommended 😏)
½ cup powdered sugar
1–2 tablespoons milk or cream
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Make the Cream Cheese Filling
In a small bowl, mix:
Cream cheese
Powdered sugar
Vanilla extract
Stir until smooth and spreadable. Set aside.
2️⃣ Prep the Bread
Trim the crusts off each slice of bread.
Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice until thin (this helps them roll nicely).
3️⃣ Assemble the Roll-Ups
Spread a thin layer of cream cheese filling over each slice.
Roll the bread up tightly, like a mini cinnamon roll.
Brush the outside lightly with melted butter.
4️⃣ Make Cinnamon Sugar
Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl.
5️⃣ Make the French Toast Batter
Whisk together:
Eggs
Milk
Vanilla
Salt
6️⃣ Cook the Roll-Ups
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture (quick dip—don’t soak).
Place seam-side down in the pan.
Cook, turning gently, until golden brown on all sides (about 2–3 minutes total).
7️⃣ Coat in Cinnamon Sugar
While still warm, roll each one in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until fully coated.
8️⃣ Drizzle the Glaze
Whisk glaze ingredients until smooth and drizzle generously over the roll-ups.
🔥 Pro Tips
Want them extra gooey? Add a thin layer of cinnamon sugar inside before rolling.
Air fryer version: 375°F (190°C) for 6–8 minutes, turning once.
