🧾 Ingredients

Filling

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Roll-Ups

  • 8–10 slices white sandwich bread (soft works best)

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Cinnamon Sugar Coating

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • 1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon

French Toast Dip

  • 2 large eggs

  • ¼ cup milk or half-and-half

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

Optional Glaze (highly recommended 😏)

  • ½ cup powdered sugar

  • 1–2 tablespoons milk or cream

  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Make the Cream Cheese Filling

In a small bowl, mix:

  • Cream cheese

  • Powdered sugar

  • Vanilla extract

Stir until smooth and spreadable. Set aside.

2️⃣ Prep the Bread

  • Trim the crusts off each slice of bread.

  • Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice until thin (this helps them roll nicely).

3️⃣ Assemble the Roll-Ups

  • Spread a thin layer of cream cheese filling over each slice.

  • Roll the bread up tightly, like a mini cinnamon roll.

  • Brush the outside lightly with melted butter.

4️⃣ Make Cinnamon Sugar

Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl.

5️⃣ Make the French Toast Batter

Whisk together:

  • Eggs

  • Milk

  • Vanilla

  • Salt

6️⃣ Cook the Roll-Ups

  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

  • Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture (quick dip—don’t soak).

  • Place seam-side down in the pan.

  • Cook, turning gently, until golden brown on all sides (about 2–3 minutes total).

7️⃣ Coat in Cinnamon Sugar

While still warm, roll each one in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until fully coated.

8️⃣ Drizzle the Glaze

Whisk glaze ingredients until smooth and drizzle generously over the roll-ups.

🔥 Pro Tips

  • Want them extra gooey? Add a thin layer of cinnamon sugar inside before rolling.

  • Air fryer version: 375°F (190°C) for 6–8 minutes, turning once.

  • Best served warm with coffee or cold milk.
