  • ½ tsp black pepper (optional)

🔪 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or baking dish.

  2. Cook the meats
    In a skillet over medium heat:

    • Cook bacon until just crisp; remove and set aside

    • In the same pan, brown ground beef in bacon fat

    • Season lightly with salt & pepper
      Drain excess grease if needed.

  3. Mix the custard
    In a bowl, whisk eggs and heavy cream until smooth.

  4. Assemble
    Spread beef evenly in the dish.
    Sprinkle bacon over the top.
    Add cheese evenly.
    Pour egg mixture over everything.

  5. Bake
    Bake 40–45 minutes, until center is set and top is golden.
