Air Fryer Burger Patties

Air Fryer Burger Patties

Ingredients (4 patties)

  • 500 g (1 lb) ground beef (80/20 works best)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional but 🔥)

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)

  • 1 tbsp ketchup or BBQ sauce (optional, for juiciness)

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 190°C / 375°F for 3–5 minutes.

  2. Mix gently: In a bowl, combine beef and seasonings. Don’t overmix or burgers get tough.

  3. Form patties: Shape into 4 even patties, slightly wider than buns. Press a small dimple in the center of each.

  4. Air fry:

    • Place patties in the basket (don’t overcrowd).

    • Cook 8–10 minutes, flip halfway.

    • For well-done: up to 12 minutes.

  5. Optional glaze: Brush with BBQ sauce or ketchup during the last 2 minutes.

  6. Rest 2 minutes before serving.

Optional Add-Ons

  • Cheese: Add slices during last 1–2 minutes

  • Toppings: Lettuce, tomato, pickles, caramelized onions

  • Buns: Toast briefly in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes

Pro Tips

  • No oil needed—the fat renders perfectly in the air fryer.

  • For extra juicy burgers, don’t press them while cooking.

  • Internal temp: 160°F / 71°C for beef.
