2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough (Grands-style or similar)
12–16 oz sliced ham (thinly sliced)
2 cups shredded cheese
(Swiss, mozzarella, provolone, or a blend)
Creamy Layer
1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
2 large eggs
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
Buttery Topping
4 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tbsp grated Parmesan
Optional: chopped parsley
🔪 Prep
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Line or grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

1. Prepare biscuit layers
Cut each biscuit into halves or quarters
Press half of them evenly into the bottom of the dish
Slightly flatten to cover the base
2. Add ham & cheese
Layer in this order:
Half of the ham
Half of the cheese
Remaining ham
Remaining cheese
3. Top with biscuits
Place remaining biscuit pieces over the top, slightly overlapping to form a slab.
4. Mix cream custard
In a bowl, whisk:
Heavy cream
Eggs
Salt
Pepper
Slowly pour evenly over the casserole — let it seep down into the layers.
5. Make buttery topping
Mix together:
Melted butter
Garlic powder
Italian seasoning
Parmesan
Brush generously over the biscuit tops.
6. Bake
Cover loosely with foil and bake 20 minutes.
Remove foil and bake another 10–15 minutes, until:
Top is golden brown
Cheese is bubbling
Biscuits are fully cooked inside
