Cheesy Garlic Bread

🧄🧀 Cheesy Garlic Bread (Crispy & Buttery)

Ingredients (serves 3–4)

  • 1 loaf French bread or baguette (or thick sandwich bread, sliced)

  • ½ cup butter, softened (salted preferred)

  • 3–4 cloves garlic, finely minced (or 1½ tsp garlic paste)

  • 1 cup shredded cheese

    • Best combo: mozzarella + cheddar

    • Or use mozzarella alone for stretch

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, adds crispiness)

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • ½ tsp dried parsley (or fresh, finely chopped)

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • Salt to taste (go light if butter is salted)

🔥 Method (Oven – best match for the photo)

1. Prep the bread

  • Slice bread into 1-inch thick pieces.

  • Line a baking tray with foil and lightly grease it.

2. Make the garlic butter

In a bowl, mix:

  • Softened butter

  • Garlic

  • Olive oil

  • Italian seasoning

  • Parsley

  • Black pepper

Mix until smooth and fragrant 🤤

3. Assemble

  • Spread a generous layer of garlic butter on each slice.

  • Sprinkle cheese evenly on top (don’t be shy).

4. Bake

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)

  • Place bread on the foil-lined tray.

  • Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese melts.

5. Get that golden top

  • Switch to broil/grill for 2–3 minutes

  • Watch closely! You want bubbly, lightly browned cheese—not burnt.
