Mixed Grill Platter (Serves 3–4)

What’s on the plate

  • Beef steaks (ribeye or sirloin)

  • Chicken drumsticks & thighs

  • Seasoned fries

  • Creamy garlic herb sauce


1️⃣ Steak (Juicy & Well-Seared)

Ingredients

  • 2 large beef steaks (ribeye or sirloin, ~2–3 cm thick)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp dried rosemary or thyme

  • 1 tbsp butter (optional but recommended)

Instructions

  1. Bring steaks to room temperature (30 min).

  2. Rub with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and herbs.

  3. Heat a heavy pan or grill very hot.

  4. Cook steaks:

    • Medium-rare: 3–4 min per side

    • Medium: 4–5 min per side

  5. Add butter in the last minute, baste the steaks.

  6. Rest for 5–7 minutes before serving (very important).


2️⃣ Grilled Chicken (Golden & Smoky)

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken drumsticks

  • 4 chicken thighs

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 1½ tsp salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1½ tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp chili powder (optional)

  • Juice of ½ lemon

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients into a marinade.

  2. Coat chicken well and marinate at least 1 hour (overnight is best).

  3. Grill over medium heat or bake at 200°C (400°F):

    • Grill: 20–25 minutes, turning often

    • Oven: 40–45 minutes, turning halfway

  4. Finish with a quick high-heat sear for crispy skin.


3️⃣ Seasoned Fries (Crispy Outside, Soft Inside)

Ingredients

  • 4–5 large potatoes

  • 2–3 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp dried herbs (oregano or thyme)

Instructions

  1. Cut potatoes into thick fries.

  2. Soak in cold water for 30 minutes, then dry completely.

  3. Toss with oil and seasonings.

  4. Bake at 220°C (425°F) for 35–40 min, flipping halfway
    or deep-fry until golden.


4️⃣ Creamy Garlic Herb Sauce (Like in the photo 🤍)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley or dill

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix everything until smooth.

  2. Chill for 20–30 minutes before serving.


5️⃣ To Serve

  • Arrange steaks and chicken on a large platter

  • Add fries on the side

  • Serve sauce in a bowl

  • Optional extras: lemon wedges, fresh parsley, grilled veggies

Brush meat lightly with oil right before grilling for that deep brown crust like in the image.
