🍲 Old Fashioned Goulash (American Style)
✅ Ingredients:

1 lb (450g) ground beef

1 onion, diced
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
-
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, with juice
-
2 cups beef broth or water
-
1½ cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
-
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
-
1 tsp Italian seasoning
-
1 tsp paprika
-
Salt & pepper, to taste
-
Optional: 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for cheesy goulash)

Optional: Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish
👩🍳 Instructions:

Brown the Beef
In a large skillet or pot over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat. -
Add Aromatics
Add the diced onion and garlic to the beef. Cook for 3–4 minutes until softened and fragrant. -
Add Tomatoes & Seasoning
Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes (with juice), Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. -
Add Broth and Pasta
Pour in the beef broth and uncooked elbow macaroni. Stir well. -
Simmer
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed. -
Optional – Make It Cheesy
Stir in shredded cheddar cheese just before serving for a creamy, cheesy version. -
Garnish & Serve
Sprinkle with parsley or green onions. Serve hot and enjoy!
